ECE-NTUA joins the Important Projects of Common European Interest (IPCEI) in Microelectronics

The School of ECE-NTUA participates in the IPCEI on Microelectronics framework in cooperation with Infineon Technologies Austria AG a key European & global semiconductor company. Through this initiative, full scholarships are provided to new PhD students at our School focusing on the design of RF/mmWave/sub-THz integrated circuits. Two scholarships are already granted for the current academic year while at least two more are scheduled for 2023-24.

The scholarships cover a span of 3-4 years while travel and publication expenses are separately covered. Through the IPCEI program and the cooperation with Infineon Technologies, the students will gain access to advanced silicon technologies, measurement laboratories as well as to a broad network in the European microelectronics industry.
