Celebrating Retiring Professors of ECE-NTUA

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens honored thirteen faculty members that have either retired at the end of the previous two academic years or are retiring as we come to the end of this academic year (2022-23), during a special event on July 18, 2023, in the premises of the School at the Zografou campus. The honorees received commemorative plaques from the Dean of the School, Prof. Nectarios Koziris, for their many, outstanding contributions to the ECE School as Professors, scholars, and valued members of the NTUA community. A special guest at this event was Mrs Afroditi Manavi, former Secretary of the ECE School, who recently retired. Prof. Koziris briefly thanked the honorees for their academic contributions and their active involvement in the management of the faculty’s needs. He also expressed gratitude to Mrs Manavi for her several years of service as Secretary. The event was open to all ECE staff to congratulate and wish them well in their future pursuits. Light refreshments were served.
