RAS Academy @IEEE NTUA SB of ECE-NTUA
RAS (Robotics and Automation Society) is a student group which is part of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) NTUA student branch.
In the context of its educational action, RAS co-organize with the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the NTUA the “RAS Academy” project, which has purely educational purpose and aims to introduce the atendees to the field of robotics and automation.
This project is made up of 20 training workshops throughout the year, on topics such as Arduino Basics, sensors, motors, PID - control, CAD, 3D printing, PCB Prototyping, Raspberry Pi, OpenCV and many more. The correspondence to this project is very high, resulting in the participation of more than a hundred of students in the first workshops.
