The course deals with all major Si-based semiconductors devices. It also includes an introduction into Si-based nano-devices. In particular it deals with the DC and AC operation of: - pn diodes, - Schottky diodes, - Bipolar transistors, - MOS capacitances, and - MOSFETs. In the last two cases of MOS structures it analyses the inclusion of nanoparticles in these structures.
