The National Technical University of Athens applies a quality assurance policy, which is part of its strategic planning. This policy is developed and specialized in individual areas of action, adopted and made public by all interested parties. The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (SEMMY) (faculty members, EDIP, ETEP and the administrative staff) is committed to the implementation of this policy, which supports its academic character, and promotes its vision through systematic actions to achieve of its goals, aiming at its continuous improvement. SIMMY is connected and aligned with the NTUA strategy but adopts an additional quality policy with the aim of providing a high level of higher education to students, the continuous improvement of its educational, research and administrative work and its offer to students, to those collaborating with School actors and in society in general, in accordance with international practices as well as the principles and directions of ADIP.
Vision / Mission of the ECE School is:
1.
To form a modern Electrical & Computer Engineer (EMMY) with all the necessary basic and special knowledge but also with the ability to continuously train and adapt his scientific and technical skills to the future developments of his science.
2.
To provide high-level education, with an emphasis on student-centered learning while continuously upgrading the Undergraduate Study Program (BSS) through regular reviews and updates.
3.
To meet the international standards of science and profession by preparing SIMMY graduates for a globalized research, development and work space.
4.
To produce high-level research, to promote domestic and international educational and scientific collaborations and to utilize the results for the benefit of society.
