Aikaterini Trikouraki received her diploma in Chemical Engineering from N.T.U.A. Continuing her studies she attended and received her specialization diploma from Postgraduate Study Program "Techno-Economics Systems" in School of Electrical & Computer Engineering. She now is a PhD candidate in School of Electrical & Computer Engineering preparing her PhD in the Laboratory of Biomedical Optics & Applied Biophysics. At the same time, within the framework of her PhD, she collaborates with the University Hospital "Attikon" at the Laboratory of Diagnostic Cytology.

Research Interests
Her research interests concern the measurement of protein factors - detection and standardization of proteins in human biological material - through multifactorial Luminex technology. Additionally, she deals with the IBM SPSS statistical package, while at the same time, within the framework of the laboratory, she has knowledge about photodynamic therapy & imaging microscopy.
