Athanasios Sarigiannnidis received the diploma of Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece in 2010. In 2016, he received his PhD degree in the field of optimal design, operation and control of electric motors from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. From 2016 to 2018 he worked in Avax S.A. as Power Systems Engineer, from 2018 to 2019 he worked in Hellenic Cables as Cable Design Engineer and from 2019 to 2025 he worked in RoboteQ/Nidec as Motor Control Engineer. Since September 2025, he has been an Assistant Professor of Electric Machines at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens. He is a senior member of IEEE.
