Antonios Antonopoulos was born in Athens, Greece in 1984. He received the diploma of Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens in 2007. In 2014, he received his PhD degree in Power Electronics from the KTH – Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. He worked until 2017 as a scientist at ABB Corporate Research Center in Västerås, Sweden, in the area of electrical systems. In 2018, he was a visiting researcher at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, and since July 2018 he has been an Assistant Professor of Power Electronics at the school of Electrical and Computer Engineering at National Technical University of Athens. His research interests include high-power electronic conversion systems for large- and medium-scale motor drives and grid applications.
