Computer aided circuit analysis: sparse matrix methods, computer aided sensitivity evaluation, noise calculations. Frequency specifications for filters and equalizers. Least squares and Chebyshev error functions. Computer aided circuit design by using optimization methods. Applications: design of filters, gain equalizers and phase equalizers. The method of coefficient matching for circuit design. Circuit element tolerances and their effect on circuit performance. Manufacturing yield maximization.
