Brief Biography
Georgios Tsatiris was born in 1988. He graduated from the Department of Informatics of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), School of Information Sciences and Technology, in 2012. During his postgraduate studies, he was a member of the AUEB Computer Graphics Group, until he graduated with a Master's Degree in Computer Science, in 2014. While in the group, he participated in the implementation and optimization of 3D scanning techniques for the EU-funded project PRESIOUS. As of November 2014, he is a member of the Image, Video and Multimedia Systems Lab (part of the Intelligent Systems, Content and Interaction Laboratory) of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is currently pursuing a PhD Degree in Human-Computer Interaction and Human Activity Recognition and Analysis, under the supervision of Prof. Stefanos Kollias. He is involved as a researcher and developer in a number of EU-funded research and innovation projects.
