Description
The course deals with all major III-V based electronic and optical devices which are mainly employed in high frequency telecommunications circuits. In particular it analyses the operation of:
- MESFETs,
- HEMTs,
- LED, and
- LASERs.
An introduction into the relevant solid-state physical principles is also given.
