Brief Biography


Dipl. in Philosophy and Theatre Studies, University of Athens

She was born in Piraeus in 1978. She graduated from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where she studied Philosophy in the faculty of "Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology" (2003). She also graduated from the Post Degree Program of Athens's University Department of Theatre Studies. She speaks and writes English and Italian well.

Professional Activities: She was teaching Greek Literature and Language to children of primary and secondary schools (1998-2002). Afterwards (2002) she joined the Technical Directorate of the National Technical University of Athens. She has been transferred to the High Voltage Laboratory, where she is now working as a secretary while she is teaching History of Theatre at Piraeus Theatre Laboratory.

Author Activities: She translated the theatre play "Night School" (by Harold Pinter). She is author of 2 role-play Books by William Shakespeare ("The Taming of the Shrew") and Alber Kami ("Malentendu"). She is also author of 3 studies: "Aristofanis and the Fiction", "Aisxilos and his political ideas" and "The evolution of Satyric Drama".

Other Activities: She has studied for three years at "Theatre of Changes" art studio. And she has also worked at Maraslio Primary School of Athens. She has attended seminars about Children's Theatre Games and Drama Therapy at "The Theatre of Day" and at "Manifactura Art Lab".
