EESTEC and the School of ECE-NTUA are hosting an online hackathon: EESTech Challenge 2020.
ChildRescue is an EU-funded research project under the Horizon 2020 program, which aims to reduce the time elapsed since the disappearance of a child and the time it is identified, using information prediction and disappearance prevention tools.
The Photonics Communications Research Laboratory (PCRL) of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) coordinates the POETICS project (CoPackaging of Terabit direct-detection and coherent Optical Engines and switching circuits in mulTI-Chip moduleS for Datacenter networks and the 5G optical fronthaul).
Research Prof. Georgios Stamatakos elected a member of the Board of Trustees of the international Virtual Physiological Human Institute (VPHi)
ICCS/ECE-NTUA research Professor Georgios S. Stamatakos was elected a member of the three member Board of Trustees (BoT) of the international Virtual Physiological Human Institute (VPHi) on October 4, 2019. His election took place during the General Assembly of VPHi held in Paris.
The kick-off meeting of the project was held in Athens on 15th to 17th of January 2020 on the premises of the National Technical University of Athens hosted by the Biomedical Engineering Laboratory of ECE-NTUA and the Institute of Communications and Computer Systems (ICCS-NTUA).
On January 8, 2020, four distinguished ECE-NTUA alumni, Alexandros Dimakis, Manolis Zampetakis, Christos Tzamos and Constantinos (Costis) Daskalakis, spoke in front of a large audience at the Ceremonial Hall of the NTUA.
ECE-NTUA Professor Pavlos-Petros P. Sotiriadis becomes Member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Space Center
