The "Greenest" research team was excited to meet Clean Energy enthusiasts and discuss for all related topics, such as energy education, energy market transformation, renewables and their grid integration. The team offered to the visitors an interactive session with an electroscope to point out the photoelectric phenomenon and a real PV panel constructed from scratch by students under our scientific guidance. The PV panel -shaded or inclined- was powering an improvised shadow theater which was loved by our younger visitors.

The “Prometheus” research team demonstrated its amazing electric vehicle! It is worth noting that since 2009, they have been participating in Shell Eco-Marathon competition and have been awarded several times. With a hand-made, eco-friendly, electric vehicle constructed from scratch, an 1.000 km trip will now cost approximately 0.2€!
