Training Workshop on the application of the “Guide for the use on non sexist language in the administrative documents”

On Thursday 7th of July 2022, 10.00, a training workshop took place for the application of the “Guide for the use on non sexist language in the administrative documents”.

The “Guide for the use on non sexist language in the administrative documents” was implemented in 2018, by the Ministry of Interior in collaboration with the General Secretariat for Demography and Family Policy and Gender Equality.

Its main goal is to contribute towards the identification of verbal sexism, as well as to provide guidance, examples, advice and recommendations on the use of non sexist language, towards the promotion and integration of the gender equality dimension in the administrative documents.

The training workshop on the application of the Guide addressed to all the administrative personnel of the School, while its main objectives were:

  • Increased familiarity with the use of the Guide,
  • Application of the Guide in the administrative documents of the School and in its communication with the external environment

The training workshop consisted of two Sessions:

  • A theoretical session: Introducing the main topics addressed in the Guide,
  • A practical session: Studying the respective adjustment of a sample of administrative documents, as well as other communication methods.
