Nikolaos Chatziargyriou receives the 2023 IEEE Herman Halperin Electric Transmission and Distribution Award
The IEEE Herman Halperin Electric Transmission and Distribution Award is a technical field award that is presented by the IEEE Board of Directors to outstanding contributions to electric transmission and distribution since 1986.
The recipient of the 2023 IEEE Herman Halperin Electric Transmission and Distribution Award is the IEEE Life Fellow Nikolaos Chatziargyriou, Professor Emeritus at the National Technical University of Athens, Greece.
The award was presented to him at the IEEE PES General Meeting at Orlando, USA on 18th July 2023 with the citation: “For contributions to the development of microgrids and leadership in distributed and decentralized smart distribution networks.”
