Informational meeting about a Course on Haskell and cryptocurrencies to be held on June 1st, 2017, at 18:00 pm at ECE NTUA (Conference Room, New ECE building)

Input Output HK Limited (IOHK) is a Research and Development company that is building cryptocurrencies. Our most important product, Cardano, is written in Haskell, see the code here.
Our researchers are lead by our Chief Scientist, Prof. Aggelos Kiayias and our developers by our Senior Research Fellow, Prof. Philip Wadler. IOHK is funding academic research at several top universities around the world, such as the University of Edinburgh, the Tokyo Institute of Technology, the University of Cambridge, the University of Kent, the University of Connecticut and just recently the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
IOHK researchers and developers will be teaching a course on Haskell and cryptocurrencies during the summer of 2017. The course will be a recruitment event and selected students will be paid for their participation. After the end of the course, selected students may be offered a position with the company.
