Thesis Title: Wind Farm converter controls for power system Voltage Stability enhancement
Abstract: The PhD dissertation investigates the effect of reactive support of Wind Farm (WF) converters on the maximum power transfer of a power transmission system. Specifically, the aim of this work is to assess the power transfer limit increase (and hence the long-term voltage stability enhancement) by a proposed emergency maximum reactive support control scheme, in the presence of stochastic wind farm generation.
