Prof. Antonios Kladas awarded with the 2016 ICEM Arthur Ellison Achievement Award for outstanding sustained technical contributions in the field of electrical machines
On behalf of the International Conference on Electrical Machines (ICEM) Steering Committee, it is my great pleasure to inform you that Professor Antonios G. Kladas has been recognized with the 2016 Arthur Ellison Achievement Award during the last edition of ICEM held in Lausanne,September 4-7, 2016.
ICEM is considered all around the world as the oldest, the larger and the most prestigious international conference only dedicated to electrical machines. It has been initiated in September 1974 under the leadership of the late Professor Arthur Ellison from Imperial College of London, UK and it has been organized every second year since then. The ICEM Arthur Ellison Achievement Award is to be presented biennially (once every even year) to an individual, for outstanding sustained technical contributions in the field of electrical machines based on his/her publications and particularly those which have been published in ICEM Proceedings.
Finally, I would like to congratulate your institution for having a faculty who has received such a prestigious award.
