CALIPER @Women in research and innovation: Associate Professor Asimina Kiourti


Within the framework of "CALIPER project – Gender Equality in STEM research", the project partners implement a series of interviews with women working in research and innovation.

Mrs Asimina Kiourti has been selected for the interview of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the NTUA, as she has received her doctorate degree in ECE-NTUA and is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Electrical and Computing Engineering at the Ohio State University.

The discussion with Associate Prof. Asimina Kiourti included topics such as the reasons that motivated her to choose her career in STEM, her experiences, obstacles that she faced on the way, as well as the advice she would give to young female students eager to follow a career in STEM.
