Brief Biography


Georgia Asimakopoulou received the Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2007. Since 2007 she works at the Electric Power Division of NTUA in the area of the electricity consumers’ behavior and pricing. She has been employed by the Public Power Corporation and by the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research as a research associate to the Electricity Sector Observatory.

Research Interests

Her research interests include artificial intelligence techniques in power systems and computer applications of bilevel programming in simulation and prediction of the electricity consumers’ behavior in liberalized electricity markets.
