Description
The content of this course may change from one academic year to another. The course may consist either in an overview of a major area of philosophy (e.g., philosophy of mathematics, philosophy of mind, philosophy of physics, methodology of science, ethics, political philosophy) or in the critical appreciation of some classical philosophical text. In the latter case, the text is first embedded in the wider philosophical tradition, including wider scientific, ideological or social trends, and is then scrutinized with an eye to analyzing and evaluating theses and arguments.
