Feedback, Sensitivity. Analysis of systems in the time domain. Steady State Errors. Disturbance Rejection. Definitions of various types of Stability. Algebraic stability criteria: Routh, Hurtwitz, Continuous Fractions. Nyquist criterion. Root locus. Bode and Nichols diagrams. State space Systems descritpion: Controllability and Observability, Canonical forms. Lyapunov’s stability criterion. Examples of control design. Associated Matlab Applications.
