Basic principles of reliability analysis for engineering systems (general aspects, reliability indices, basic reliability function, probability distributions for reliability evaluation). Reliability evaluation by using probability distributions (general aspects, basic subsystems, discrete Markov chains, continuous Markov processes). Application of numerical methods for complex systems. Approximate methods for reliability evaluation. Systems with non - exponential distributions. Practical applications for the evaluation of reliability indices (electronic systems, mechanical systems, computer systems, chemical industries, human reliability). Sampling methods for quality assurance of engineering systems (general aspects, sampling processes, lots). Method for determining sampling plans. Sampling plans for continuous production systems.
