Automated Reconstruction of Fragmented Objects - Application to the reassembly of celebrated wall-paintings
The research group “Applications of Computer Engineering in Pattern Recognition, Arcaeometry, Bioengineering, Music and Arts” has developed a novel information system that gives a practically unique solution to the problem of fragmented wall-paintings reconstruction.
We are proud to announce that White Noise, the team that represented NTUA and our country, Greece, came in an impressive fourth place in the international rating, with a score of 94,756%.

We are pleased to announce that ECE-NTUA Ph.D. student Konstantinos Papafotis, and his supervisor, Associate Professor Paul-Peter Sotiriadis, received the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Modern Circuits and Systems Technologies (MOCAST) on Electronics and Communications that was held in Thessaloniki, Greece, on 13-15 May 2019.
