6th Computing Systems Research Day @CSLab

Computing Systems Research Days are scheduled on a yearly basis by the CSLab of ECE-NTUA. This well-established event brings together distinguished researchers from various universities in USA and Europe and alumni of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens in order to present their recent published research work, to discuss problems and solution techniques, and to shape future directions for research in the broader field of computing systems.

After a 2-year break due to the covid pandemic, the 6th Computing Systems Research Day took place face-to-face at the premises of the ECE-NTUA School (Amphitheater of General Assembly) on January 10, 2023. The event was attended by the Dean of the School, Prof. Nectarios Koziris, along with many academic members of the ECE-NTUA community. Among this year’s speakers were: Assistant Prof. Dimitrios Skarlatos (Computer Science Department at Carnegie Mellon University), Konstantinos Kanellopoulos (Ph.D student at ETH Zurich in the SAFARI research group), George Vavouliotis (Ph.D. student at Barcelona Supercomputing Center and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya), postdoctoral researcher George Papadimitriou (Dept. of Informatics & Telecommunications at the University of Athens), Konstantinos Kallas (Ph.D student at the University of Pennsylvania), Nikos Tziavelis (Ph.D student at Northeastern University) and Theodoros Trochatos (Ph.D student at Yale University).
