Undergraduate Students

We congratulate you on your success and welcome you to the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The registration process for newly enrolled students will be announced by the Secretariat of the School as soon as the Ministerial Decision is sent by the Ministry, indicating the dates as well as the necessary supporting documents. These dates are usually announced in the first 10 days of September and have a duration of 15 days. The supporting documents according to the Ministerial Decision of 2016 were as follows:

  • Printed Electronic Application Form of the Ministry of Education.
  • Birth certificate.
  • Clear photocopy of a police ID (with the demonstration of a police ID).
  • 1 photo.

Please note that all of the above registration procedures are completed either by the successful candidates themselves or by a person legally authorized by them.

Postgraduate Students

The admission of new postgraduates, i.e. doctoral candidates (DC), takes place once in a year by following a procedure, which includes the following steps:

  1. Announcement of research areas and available positions.

  2. Submission of applications.

  3. Evaluation of applications and selection of the new doctoral students.

  4. Appointment of a supervising committee to each student.

  5. Enrolment of new students.

The time schedule of the above admission procedure is synchronized with the academic calendar of NTUA so as to (a) give students that have just finished their studies the opportunity to apply for the new positions, and (b) to complete the admission process before the beginning of the winter semester, thereby making possible the enrolment of the newly accepted students to winter semester courses
