Sturm-Liouville problems, orthogonal functions. Curvilinear coordinate systems. Solution of Laplace equation in curvilinear coordinates by separation of variables. Electromagnetic potentials (scalar and vector electric/magnetic potential, Hertz potentials). Solution of Helmholtz equation in cartesian, cylindrical and spherical coordinates with applications to radiation, propagation and scattering. Theory and applications of Green's functions. Theorems of electromagnetics. Integral equations in electromagnetics.
