Ionized media and plasmas in nature and in the laboratory. Introductory kinetic theory and statistical description. Collisionless Vlasov-Hartree-Fock equation. Dispersion relations in ionized media in general (magnetized and un-magnetized). Cold medium - test particle description and derivation of the cold plasma dispersion relation in various forms (Stix, Allis). Linearized Vlasov equation in unmagnetized media.
