Introduction to terrestrial and satellite microwave and mmWave radio communication networks. Line of Sight (LoS) Communication systems. Satellite Links. Impact of Noise. Free space loss propagation. Impact of the terrain. Fading. Statistical analysis of fading and channel modeling. Multi-hop networks. Radio relay communication system analysis. Analogue and Digital Relays. General principle for the propagation phenomena above 10GHz. Rain Fading (Statistical distribution of point rainfall rate). Specific attenuation calculation. Rain Attenuation Exceedance Probability Calculation. Total attenuation exceedance probability. Dynamic stochastic models. Connectivity of wireless multi-hop networks.
