Design and Analysis of Program/Implementation : Programming Models, High-Level Transformations, Compilers for Integrated Systems, Program Optimization. Built-in Systems Hardware: Multiprocessing Architectures (MPSOC), Processing Units, Networks and Interface Topologies, Memory Hierarchies, Memory Management Units. Embedded Systems Software: Embedded Real-Time Operating Systems, timing in real-time systems. Implementation of Integrated Systems-Hardware and Software Co-design: Design Platforms, Hardware and Software Partitioning, Performance Analysis, Hardware and Software Co-synthesis Algorithms. Verification: Hybrid System Verification, Simulation and Simulation, Testing, Error Simulation, Risk Analysis, Reliability. Laboratory exercises on cards with ARM, FPGA and sensors.
