Pushme is the first company that offers charging-as-a-service for electric bicycles. A device converts any bicycle to electric in seconds and a network of battery stations provide infinite range without downtime.
As an Electrical Engineer at Pushme you will work on the design and manufacture of Pushpod, our battery station. You will have experience in writing firmware, schematics, PCB layout and design, rapid prototyping, assembly and testing. Experience in design for manufacture is a plus.
You will be based with the founding team in the offices of HAX, Shenzhen, China for 4 months, starting September 4th, 2017.
Responsibilities
• Help architect, design, implement, and maintain our products from component selection to PCB design to manufacturing.
• Validate your design: complete functional verification, compliance testing and system coexistence testing.
• Bring your design to mass production, assist in software bring up and make sure your product is built successfully.
Requirements
• BS and/or MS EE or ECE
• 2+ years work experience in consumer electronics/embedded systems design
• Strong EE fundamentals
Experience with: embedded systems, processor selection, communication protocols (especially I2C),
sensor design, AC power line devices, Bluetooth LE or other wireless network equivalents, board bring-up
and debug skills, power supply design, power electronics and compliance testing.
Even Better
• Demonstrated capability in applying EE best practices to hardware designs
• Proficiency in C and embedded software development environments
• Experience managing team/project
• Must love being part of the bring up processes - we build things
