CGI U Programs by the Clinton Global Initiative University
The Clinton Global Initiative University is looking for higher education student leaders who are committed to take action in their community to address a pressing challenge. We are looking for undergraduate and graduate students across the world who are motivated to make a positive change in the areas of education, environment and climate change, peace and human rights, poverty allevation, and public health.
CGI U is a year-round program that provides students with the tools needed to develop social impact projects through a rigorous curriculum, high-touch mentorship, and a range of funding opportunities. Acceptance into CGI U also includes an invitation to a free three-day summit hosted by President Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton, to take place at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland from April 17-19, 2020. At this meeting, approximately 600 student leaders from around the world will come together to hear from a wide range of topic experts, leaders, and innovators to discuss how to turn their ideas into tangible action.
The deadline for students to apply to the Clinton Initiative University (CGI U) 2019-2020 program is Tuesday, October 15, 2019, and students interested in travel assistance must apply by Monday, September 30, 2019.
