The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens is well known in Greece and abroad for the research achievements of its faculty members and the good reputation of its students and alumni.

The field of Electrical and Computer Engineering spans a wide range of subject areas, like computer science, telecommunications, electronics, automatic control and electric power. The era of technological revolution that we are experiencing is partly due to the work and contributions of electrical and computer engineers. These days, technology has a big impact on our lives, often making it easier and more comfortable, which in turn offers exciting new job and research opportunities to electrical and computer engineers but at the same time calls for more social responsibility from their part.

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering maintains a long standing tradition of attracting exceptional Greek students, to whom it offers high quality undergraduate and graduate education, focussing on the scientific principles that form the basis of technological progress.
